@Robkizzy I agree. Princess Leia or Carrie Fisher is really a powerful feminine figure. She’s smart, strong and beautiful. As I get older I really marvel at the impact she had on me as a young boy. I think Karen Allen, Marion from Raiders of the Lost Ark could have been a strong counterpart to Carrie Fisher had she commited to the “Indiana Jones” franchise.
@angrycitizen7 I see your point of view, but I think it was an attempt to reveal a little sexuality to the Leia character. Though I understand the purity of the Star Wars trilogy, I think it was good to give a glimpse of what Han Solo was physically attracted to and more than that the physical beauty of Leia fed deeper into mythology. On the low road, maybe Lucas knew that the little boys who watched the film were now pubescent of pre-pubescent and played the card. I don’t know! LOL!!

Just one thing the effects in the original Star Wars are AMAZING for their time. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, any one from that time can tell you they were amazing at the time.
